Phenomenal Start! Interesting Discussions!
Yesterday morning we started a new session of our Social Media Bootcamp and we welcome you also to the website about Social Media Technology.
Welcome everyone to three weeks of Social Media Bootcamp! As a participant, we added you as new reader to this blog’s notification system. Every Sunday there will be information posted about questions that came up, the slide-shows used and additional material. This will continue even after that last session of the seminar. This site has the goal to help you keep up with the ongoing changes of features, services and analysis.
We were off to a phenomenal start with very, very intersting discussions in a diverse business owner group that was not at all deterred by minor, technical glitches at the computer room. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. Harry Looknanan from the SBDC will work with FGCU to get it all worked out before the next session, so everyone will be able to use the computers in the classroom.
Should you not be able to attend all three sessions, you will be able to pick up the material at this spot.
If you are puzzled by anything Social Media Technology, please feel free to ask through our ‘Ask Your Question’ and we will post answers.
Yesterday’s material is available for download now:
The next Social Media Bootcamp begins Saturday! It’s a very informative and easily understood way to learn the basics of navigating the social space on the Interwebs. “Awesome! I highly recommend it,” posted a recent graduate to our Facebook page. Session 1: March 3rd, 9 - 12 (noon) Session 2: March 10th, 9 - 12 (noon) Session 3: March 17th, 9 - 12 (noon)
Sandy Reed, as recent graducate of the bootcamp, writes:
"Relevanza’s Social Media Bootcamp is an essential class you want to attend. I learned a great deal about how my website and each social site impacts my message to the public. The sites work together—and it’s quite easy to get it all going. Soon, as instructor Birgit says, it’s one big happy party! I highly recommend this class!"
